Joel’s ultimate goal is to share God’s love story through a high energy, entertaining show. Joel says
“We are in competition with the world to capture the attention of our young people, if my playing piano backwards is what it takes then that’s what I’ll do“.
When people walk away from his concert’s he wants them not only to be captivated but to know God in an more intimate way. This may mean anything from someone who has never heard of Jesus before putting their trust in him to another’s passion being renewed. Whatever the case, Joel says, “The most important thing to me when I minister to people is that they see my heart; yes, it’s important to put on a professional show but if at the end if people don’t hear about what God has done in my life and can do in theirs, it’s pointless”.
